Vegan

"Plant-based eating is not a diet. It is a way of exploring all the amazing foods there is. "
Being a vegan is still considered strange by most cultures nowadays (very mildly said). But it makes a perfect sense, which becomes obvious if approached with open mind, not influenced by society, government and food companies.

It can be one of the most healthiest types of eating (but it is not by default - take Oreo, Lotus Biscoff, or Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream for example). Sure, it requires some planning, but that is true for all balanced types of eating. When approached mindfully, it can clean the body, improve the ability to regenerate and increase performance.

It is also the most ecological way of eating, which saves a significant amount of resources [1]. When compared to a typical meat diet, it uses only:
  • 50% of CO2 (saves 9 kilograms daily)
  • 8% of water (saves 4 164 liters daily)
  • 6% of land (saves 2.8 sq meters daily)
Finally, it is the most ethical way of living, which gives me a continuous good feeling. Living this way, I do not have to be ashamed or disgusted about my actions.

How long have I been vegan?
